Is it mineral or chemical?
Fully mineral. The active is non-nano zinc oxide, with no chemical UV filters.
Will it leave a white cast?
Zinc can leave a slight cast, so we use a light oil base and a fine spray that rubs in fast and sheer. A quick rub-in is part of how you use it.
What SPF is it?
We are launching at SPF 30 broad-spectrum, with an SPF 50 on the roadmap.
Is it safe for kids?
It is made to a standard we are happy to use on our own children: fragrance-free and gentle. For babies under six months, follow the usual advice and check with your doctor, since shade and clothing come first at that age.
Is it reef-conscious?
Yes. There is no oxybenzone or octinoxate, the filters most often named in reef bans.
Is it fragrance-free?
Completely. There is no added fragrance or parfum.
How do refills work?
You buy the bottle once and top it up with a refill pouch, which uses far less plastic and costs less than buying a new bottle each time.
Is it water-resistant?
It is built to hold up to water and sweat. The exact rating will be confirmed in testing and printed on the bottle. Reapply after towelling off.

Is it approved by Health Canada?
It is going through Health Canada's Natural Health Product review, which is the pathway for mineral sunscreens. We will share the NPN once it is issued.
When does it launch?
We are aiming for the 2026 season. The list gets first access and founding-family pricing.
